CPR First Aid training is offered as a 4 hour in person class aimed at teaching individuals how to perform life-saving techniques in the event of an emergency. It stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and is typically taught through a combination of hands-on practice and classroom instruction.
CPR First Aid Training is offered by National Safety & Health Training Center. National Safety & Health Training Center offer training in the Safety & Health sectors. National Safety & Health Training Center empowers your teams to make safety a priority.
There are two CPR certifications available: BLS Provider for prehospital medical professionals and Heartsaver AED for non-medical professionals. An individual does not need to take both versions of the class.
This course covers the theory and practical skills of the standard first aid course as prescribed by the American Heart Association (AHA). Included are the first aid basics, medical emergencies, and injury emergencies.
NYST’s First aid, CPR, and AED course teaches students to respond to a number of first aid emergencies, such as burns, cuts, scrapes, falls, sudden illnesses, head and back injuries, asphyxiation and heat and cold injuries.
