CPR and First Aid with AED training course designed for individuals and organizations to meet regulatory requirements. Our course follows the Medic First Aid program. Instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives.
A variety of skills will be covered in this course including Hands on Only CPR, Basic First Aid, choking, seizures and blood borne pathogens.

The Heat Related Illness portion of this class is designed to help workers to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control heat stress hazards. In this course, we will teach you the definition of heat stress and how to prevent injuries and illnesses on the job site.
You will also learn OSHA’s heat stress guidelines so that you can be prepared to handle heat stress emergencies. Washington State requires HRI to be covered May 1st through September 30th, yearly.

After 12 years working as a Carpenter, she transitioned to Construction Safety working as Safety Director for a large general contractor in the area.
Safety Matters is a third-party Safety and Health Consultation Company that specializes in on-site safety trainings, workplace inspections, accident investigations and assistance with Labor & Industries disputes.
In 2017, Safety Matters Training Institute opened in South Seattle. The Institute offers open enrollment courses which gives companies the opportunity to register a single worker or a group of workers. We also offer customized coursed, if a client has preferred dates/times, we will do our best to accommodate their scheduling needs.
First Aid/CPR/AED training is offered by Catalyst Safety. Catalyst Safety is a full line safety training and consulting company located in McPherson Kansas. Our Safety Consultants have the expertise to recognize existing and potential hazards
CIH Services routinely provides First Aid/CPR/AED training to numerous clients. The training is authorized by the American Red Cross and includes classroom and hands on instruction. The mannequins are light for travel and training AEDs are available for use by the students.
This course includes the procedures for CPR and choking, heart attacks, strokes, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) introduction, as well as topics such as bleeding, shock, fainting, poisoning, epilepsy, diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions, burn accidents, heat and cold.
Shoreline Fire Department offers American Heart Association adult, infant and child CPR. These AHA Heartsaver classes will be held throughout the year. There is a $50.00 charge for all students.
