On February 9, 1942, the South Adams County Fire Department was formed as an all volunteer fire department. The Department was an outgrowth of a local civil defense group resulting from WWII. The primary funding for the volunteers up until 1952 was through fundraising.
Shoreline Fire Department offers American Heart Association adult, infant and child CPR. These AHA Heartsaver classes will be held throughout the year. There is a $50.00 charge for all students.
Learn valuable skills that will help you care for an injured or ill person during an emergency. Upon completion, students will receive a three year certification from the National Safety Council.
knowing how to respond to a First Aid or CPR emergency is one of the most important skills a person can possess. The course covers a standardized method of teaching First Aid, CPR and AED.
Our curriculum consists of a combination of formal instruction (e.g., lecture, discussion, interactive learning, video, and written material), and practical training.
The CPR certification classes are conducted using the National Safety Council First Aid / CPR Program. All employees who successfully complete the class will be certified in CPR a primary function of First Aid.
