The focus of Craftsman Food and Beverage Service is to have a direct interface with the customer when they visit a hotel. Hotels or hospitality organizations can earn money from selling food, renting rooms and also from the sales of various services to their guests.
Guest service staff are involved in all operating areas from where the income is generated for the organizations. They are posted in Restaurants, Coffee shops, Bars, Banquets, Room Service and in many other areas to sell food, and beverages and also provide many other services that the guest want from them.
Benefits of Joining
Every hotel requires a maximum number of Food & Beverage staff to run their business. In common practice, there should be at least 5 Food & Beverage staff in the hotel against one Food Production staff. Besides hotels, the trained Food & Beverage staff are often engaged in other hospitality sectors such as railways, Hospitals, Retail sectors, Event Management, media and in other sectors.

This course is a professional qualification for becoming a Food and Beverage steward. They are responsible for working for long hours, manage and handle different types of table crockeries, customer care, table management, etc.
This course deals with the technic of working in a kitchen, starting from hygiene standards upkeep, HACCP and other ethics. It also includes the features of the Kitchen area and the equipment used in it. Lastly it deals with nature of commodities used in the kitchen too.
Certificate Course in Food and Beverage is a specialty course,which provides all basic knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and banquet service across, Hotels, Restaurants, Cafeteria, Food Chains, Canteen, and other Hospitality setups that use Food & Beverage Service.
DHMI offers Food & Beverage Production/Service program. Responsible for coordinating all events and functions held in the hotel. DHMI was established with the objective of providing quality Technical Education in Hospitality Management for under 10th, 10+2, graduate and post graduate levels.
