Course Completion:
The quizzes at the end of each chapter are intended and designed to strengthen your understanding of its contents. A passing mark of 70% is required and you only have two retries of each quiz to achieve this.
Upon successful completion of this course, a unique digital certificate, valid for three years, will be available to download and print. On successful completion of the exam, the student will receive competency assessment forms that can be used by the employer.
Western Canada Fire & First Aid (WCFF) and its sister company Saga Universal Training Corp. (SAGA) have been creating and facilitating Occupational Health and Safety compliant safety training programs since 1996 and has two training centres in Edmonton.
Training can also be conducted Onsite at your location. WCFF instructors are trained and certified by Energy Safety Canada (ESC) to deliver, on ESC’s behalf, the Confined Space, Fall Protection, H2S Alive and MEWP End User programs.
Working at heights training is valid for three (3) years from the date of successful completion of an approved program.

The course format has been developed to be a highly interactive program utilizing facilitated presentation, along with exercises to reinforce the learning process. During the class the students will work individually and in groups on exercises and case studies.
Our 12-week program sets you up to earn an apprenticeship as a Heavy Equipment Operator Technician, under guidelines set by the BC Industry Training Authority.
