This course will allow you to begin development on the skills you will need in order to work in the games industry. You will develop practical skills in the core areas of design, art and development and work across both 2D and 3D packages.
You will also learn about the way the industry works and its structure. The aim of this course is to gain a range of introductory skills within several areas of digital animation and games, which will prepare you for employment in a related role or onto further education within the field.

We also have guest speaker visits via Skype or who come into class to discuss their role and look at your projects
Entry Requirements
A minimum of four GCSEs at grade 3 preferably with Maths and English, or a suitable Level 1 qualification
In addition to your main vocational qualification you will also be required to study English and maths as part of your course if you have not already achieved GCSE grade 4 or above
