Our goal is to build a safe, comfortable environment where writers can explore their creativity in an academic setting.
We hold events throughout the year, publish an anthology of student works at the end of the school year, and most importantly hold weekly workshops where students can work on their creative writing through group or individual writing exercises and get their creative writing pieces edited by our workshop editors.
All genres and styles of writing are welcome and no previous experience in creative writing is necessary.
Our goal is to build a safe, comfortable environment where writers can explore their creativity in an academic setting.
Many of our alumni say they fell in love with Brock when they toured our beautiful campus. We hope that you’ll feel the same way once you’ve visited the University. Campus tours are led by Brock students eager to show you what makes this such a special place to live and learn.
For students majoring in other disciplines, we also offer Minor Programs in French Studies, German, Hispanic and Latin American Studies and Italian Studies. The Department has additional language courses in Classic Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Russian and Kiswahili.
