A variety of prompts will be provided, such as objects, music and discussion. Work will be shared within the group and possibly even recorded and broadcast on the airwaves.

Many authors take their own life experience as a starting point for works of fiction. In this discursive course we will be looking at how memory and imagination can work together across a variety of genres to create engaging stories.
This course will act as an introduction, focusing on the different forms of non-fiction, such as life writing, place writing, memoir, personal essays, lyric essays and travel writing.
