Individual and group classes in mosaics, sewing, cooking, origami, jewelry making, and furniture refinishing. Lessons offered by a friendly, patient, reliable and punctual teacher. New students are my specialty. Wet items can be left to dry with the instructor. Day and early evening lessons available.

I love to make beautiful things and specialize in sewing and helping people make there art and craft projects come alive. When it comes to hobbies, I have A LOT!
Classes are offered in sewing, cooking, mosaics, jewelry making and origami:
My students are all ages and genders...from five-year-olds to retirees. I have classes for beginners taught on my machines with thread, pins, and scissors provided. Some students come for 2 hour classes because of the distance.
First Time Knitters or ReFreshers. Learn to start a project, knit “garter stitch” and how to end a project
Only a max of 6 will be able to gather. If weather allows, class be will be held in the flower garden. Small group, more instruction!
This class will cover the basics of making a patchwork block. In this class will cover choosing fabrics, notions, and techniques for making patchwork blocks. You should be comfortable with sewing on a machine and using a rotary cutter.
You will learn how to make t-shirt yarn, and then learn the basics of crochet including the chain stitch, single crochet stitch, crocheting a circle, increasing stitches, and how to finish off/add to your project.
This class will take you through the entire process from cutting to binding as you make a throw sized quilt. You will learn what common acronyms mean like WOF and HST.
