By the end of the course you will know the indications and contraindications for cupping on the body and face, safety, consent and legal considerations as well as having the necessary skills.
Are you interested in learning new skills that can help yourself and others? Do you want an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine? This entry level course is a great way to dip your toes into a new field, or make an addition to your massage or other therapeutic practice.
We run our one day, 8-hour cupping workshops on the weekend, the morning of the course will consist of theory and the afternoon will consist of practice and examination.
You will be using plastic pump cups, silicone cups for the body and face, glass fire cups, clamps during the worskhop. At the end of the day, you will receive a certificate of course completion.

Please be advised that cupping is not a controlled act, but the act of puncturing the skin is, therefore bleeding cupping will not be able to be preformed unless you are a healthcare provider with puncturing the skin under your scope of practice.
It is also advisable to check with your professional liability insurance to see if they will cover the act of fire cupping before performing it on your patients or clients.
