Cushion Sewing Class

These classes, instructed by Helena Kinnunen, are an introduction to upholstery sewing during which time students will make or recover their own cushions. It is suitable for beginner to intermediate skill level. Helena will cover topics such as fabric selection, pattern making, cutting and sewing for making seat, back and scatter cushions for furniture. 

The students may purchase as many 3 hour class sessions as they would like. These are held either one-on-one or as small classes so each student will have the opportunity to work closely with Helena. Students may bring in their own cushions to recover along with their fabric, or they may purchase fabrics, cushion inserts and accessories from us.
