Soft Skills are intangible and difficult to quantify. Businesses today care a great deal about employees soft skills, the ability to build relationships by effectively communicating.
As individuals our success and the success of our chosen career depends on our ability to read other people’s signals and react appropriately to them. Each of us should strive to develop the skills required to better understand, empathize and negotiate with others.
Personal Touch Computing was established in 1992. Its main focus was on-site delivery of desktop training to corporate clients. In 1996 Added Advantage was established, to provide small group training to the SME client base of Global Z-Data and Moores Rowland.
In 2000 Personal Touch Computing and Added Advantage merged in order to deliver end-user training and a more seamless service to their customers.
Added Advantage Academy strives to provide a high standard of training where the focus is on personalised training and a high retention of learning. We strive to achieve this by keeping our training classes to a maximum of 10 learners.
Formative Assessments are completed at the end of each section and a final assessment is completed by participants at the end of the training.
We are fully accredited with MICT SETA. We currently offer short courses which are aligned with the unit standards and are part of the National Certificate for Information Technology: End User Computing.
We are an International Computer Drivers Licence (ICDL) training and testing center.
Learners can receive local or internationally recognized certification at Added Advantage Academy.
Added Advantage Academy is a training organisation which promotes the achievement of credits on completion of the aligned courses attended at Added Advantage.
We use training material aligned to the unit standards. The training material is either created by Added Advantage or purchased from an accredited courseware provider.
Trainers are registered facilitors and assessors.
The customer is king’ may be an old cliché yet it is still widely used when dealing with customer service excellence. Without the customer, there is no business, hence, for any business to succeed it needs to develop a customer service excellence culture.
In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of providing excellent customer service by understanding how to interact with customers to meet their customer service expectations.
At the end of this workshop learners will have mastered the art of communicating positively and without barriers, and be able to effectively assist and support customers to their business.
Group Telepersonality Program (Price Per Delegate) course is offered by The Voice Clinic.
All staff that need to improve on their existing customer service skills and develop new skills. This workshop will address general attitude in the workplace, motivate staff and instill confidence in their professional abilities.
