  • Trainers’ profile: Wong Yew Fei, Derek Senior Trainer and Consultant of KAC Advisory Services PLT. He is a MIA member with ACCA and AAT (Association of Accounting Technician, UK) qualifications. He has over 22 years of experience in the field of Accounting and Finance. He started work in a medium size audit firm and moved to a Big four audit firm. Thereafter, he was with SMEs and a public listed company and held a senior financial position in a large established corporation for a period of 7 years. He has vast experience in preparing and reviewing of management reports, budget, forecast and cash flow management. He is also involved in fund raising activities, IPOs, back door listing exercise and other corporate exercises. He is a HRDF-certified trainer and he is sought-after for his training on SST/GST and debtors management. He is also the regular trainer for Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) for the above subjects. He has conducted various SST/GST training courses in East and West Malaysia and he was appointed by GAF Advisory PLT and Persatuan Pegawai Kastam Malaysia and selected University’s GST course facilitator. He is also a SST/GST advisor for a large Government Link Company (“GLC”), established MNCs, Airline, Oil and Gas related company and Manufacturing companies. He has good working relationship with various local business association involved in SST/GST matters. Technical Support Mr. Kulwant Singh was ex Superintendent of Customs. He was attached to the Royal Malaysian Custom Department (RMCD) from 1979 and retired in 2004 as Superintendent of Customs. During his working career with RMCD for more than 34 years, he had worked in various departments and sectors of the Customs Department. Thereafter, he started consultation work focusing mainly on SST/ GST and other customs matters. Drafting appeals to Ministry of Finance (MOF) and meeting with Customs Officers in whole Malaysia to solve clients’ issues on customs matters. Consultation work covers many areas: Selangor, WPKL, Malacca, Johor, Pahang and Perak.
