Course Details

As well as the eight core cybersecurity courses, you’ll study software engineering, computer science, and network engineering. As part of your training as a professional engineer, you’ll also learn about professional practice and project management, and you’ll complete 800 hours of work experience in two different engineering environments. 

  • Cybersecurity Engineering is one of three majors for the four-year professional Bachelor of Engineering with Honours degree.
  • The Cybersecurity Engineering major is structured to allow you to include some outside courses. For example, you might want to add Psychology, Management, or Data Science to your BE(Hons).
  • You can also study Cybersecurity Engineering as part of a postgraduate qualification in engineering.
