To get the full benefit of Acro, students should attend a dance technique class such as Modern/Jazz or Contemporary alongside their Acro class.
We run a range of dance classes for both kids and adults in locations across Edinburgh, Kirkliston and South Queensferry.
We specialise in traditional syllabus based styles like Ballet, Tap and Modern. We compliment this with fabulous creative styles like Contemporary, Jazz, Acro, and Lyrical.
We also offer Musical Theatre classes, dance workshops and holiday clubs. No matter your age or experience, we’ll find the perfect class for you.
Acro Dance classes are offered by Topaz Dancentre. Our expert teachers are fully qualified, DBS checked and understand that different people learn in different ways. Therefore all our teachers allow students to progress at their own speed.
A fusion of a classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic/gymnastic elements. Arco dancers train in both dance and acrobatic elements; Acrobatic technique includes flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering, and tumbling, and is taught on mats for our students’ safety
Our acro class is taught by our fully qualified Acrobatic Arts teachers and the class levels for this discipline are skill-based.
Senior Acro classes are offered by KS Dance Academy. We offer many wonderful experiences for our students including the opportunity to participate in exams, shows, galas and fairs, festivals and competitions.
Acro classes are offered by Timms School of Dance. Students are encouraged to develop at their own pace which helps to make them feel at ease and confident, learning a new skill whilst having lots of fun, and making lots of new friends.
