By being the holder of a Dangerous Goods Endorsement, you will be able to transport Dangerous Goods for payment. The Dangerous Goods Endorsement includes a day of theory training in class. Participants will complete unit standard 16718 which will also be registered on the NZQA framework.

The 'D' Endorsement is required for drivers transporting Dangerous Goods. This includes Class 5 tanker drivers transporting petrol but also includes Courier drivers, even on their restricted licences, if they are transporting such things as cleaning products, health and beauty products
