The Department of Transport (DOT) have now selected and approved training bodies to provide the conveying of dangerous goods by road training. All drivers with a valid PRDP will need to be trained on this course before they can be issued with a PRDP-D license.

Dangerous Goods Handling training is offered by Skills Resource Group. All our courses are either accredited through SAIOSH (South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) or TETA (Transport Education Training Authority).

Conveying Dangerous Goods by Road is a training programme that has been developed in accordance with the Skills Development Act. The purpose of the material covered is to ensure safe handling of dangerous goods in terms of loading, conveying and off-loading.
