This course has been designed for drivers, loaders and warehouse staff. The purpose of this course is to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to safely handle, load and store dangerous goods and to give you an understanding of the different classes of dangerous goods and their hazards, along with your health and safety obligations when handing dangerous goods at your workplace.

Dangerous Goods Endorsement course is offered by Mainland Driving School Ltd. Mainland Driving School is focused on providing our customers with solutions for their transport training and licensing needs.
This is for people who carry dangerous goods for hire or reward, or carry more than the minimum amount of dangerous goods for their own business or ‘Tools of Trade’. This is Unit standard 16718 and is also ‘D’ on your License Endorsement
Dangerous goods for transport on land include substances and articles that have explosive, flammable, toxic, infectious, corrosive or environmentally hazardous properties, and containers that have held dangerous goods.
Dangerous Goods training is offered by Land Based Training for all skill level. The training offered by TTS is provided to a high standard and focuses on safety in a professional way.
The 'D' Endorsement is required for drivers transporting Dangerous Goods. This includes Class 5 tanker drivers transporting petrol but also includes Courier drivers, even on their restricted licences, if they are transporting such things as cleaning products, health and beauty products
