DurationThis year-long training program was launched at the Amity Greater Noida campus, in association with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). The objective of the project is to empower rural women of Surajpur, Kasna, Tugalpur, and Asgarpur villages of Greater Noida region by skilling them in the field of data entry operation.
Women from less privileged sections of the society are trained primarily about the basic usage of computers and are also provided with rigorous hands-on training to inculcate necessary skills that would eventually earn them respectable livelihoods.
To ensure an overall development of the trainees, special soft skill classes were held to impart some useful personal traits such as communication, workplace etiquette, empathy, presentation skills, team building, time management, etc.
