This course is for students who wish to acquire both a business and technical understanding of database systems; their design, development, management, and application.
In this course, students will learn the foundation for the programming series and the use of database-resident stored program units for Oracle 12c.
Students will develop a business application using database software such as Microsoft Access. Students will be required to demonstrate skills such as team building, work ethic, communications, documentation, and adaptability.
This class will develop the key fundamental skills necessary to be an Oracle DBA. Students will design and create a server using the Optimal Flexible Architecture (OFA), configure logical and physical structures, set up database and user security.
