Modularized course that is approved and regulated by the Alberta government.
The modularized defensive driving course can be tailored to meet the needs of their staff.
In Alberta, students who successfully complete the M-DDC, receive 3 point demerit reduction on their driver’s license.
The Alberta Construction Training Institute (ACTI) located in Edmonton and Calgary is a training company with a combined experience of over 100 years in Construction, Engineering and Management training fields.
ACTI instructors have been instructing health, safety, management and engineering training in Alberta for over 20 years. Our focus is on construction safety and training through classroom and advanced instructional skill evaluation both with traditional equipment and our virtual reality simulations. ACTI has created our online learning management system for blended learning. Please call to arrange training with our ACTI learning management system at ****** 3849. You will received instructions on its use and be able to login or create a account in the ACTI LMS after speaking to our office.

We have also just developed a 40 hr training course based on the Construction Industry Institute (CII) and Construction Owners of Alberta Association (COAA) best practices with multi discipline work packaging for Advanced Work Face Planning.
Students who participate in the DDC and pass the written exam with 80% or higher and have a valid Alberta Drivers License will qualify for a 3 points demerit reduction on their driving permit.  Â

This course is intended for oilfield truck drivers operating vehicles with GVW of 5500 kilograms and over. You will gain defensive driving skills along with a professional driving attitude.
Off-highway vehicles (OHVs) like ATVs and UTVs are fun recreational vehicles as well as useful work tools when jobs need to be completed in the bush. Because of their recreational status, we sometimes underestimate their potential for hazards.
This program focuses on employees who drive as part of their normal work activities. During the course, we examine four interrelated elements of accident-free driving: defensive driving, space management, the condition of the driver and the condition of the vehicle.
