Defensive Driving training is offered by WTSTC. The content of our training courses and mode of delivery is approved by the WTSTC Steering Committee. WTSTC has a full-time training and administrative staff. Â All training is documented, and records are maintained in a secure database. Â
Experienced drivers in this course will participate in a multi-media training program designed to review their driving skills, review actual driving situations and identify potential hazardous situations. Upon successful completion participants will receive a Safe Driver’s Certificate.
The New York State Defensive Driving Course can help you reduce up to 4 points from your driving record. This does not apply to points received after the course. It is only applicable to points received within the 18 months before the course. Students may only take this course every 18 months.
