Driving is an essential part of our daily life and, most of the time, we get to our destination safely. But one mistake, and our lives—and those of others—could be changed forever.

With more cars on the road and increasingly stressed drivers, each one of us must take responsibility for ensuring the safety and welfare of others.

We may have different skill levels depending on our experience, but—as road conditions change—being a good driver requires that we continually sharpen our skills with knowledge and practice. Most importantly, we need to have the right attitude.

An alert, proactive, safety-first approach and attitude can make any road travel safer for ourselves and all others. This online Defensive Driving Awareness course is composed of six modules.

These modules include:

  • Module 1: What Is Defensive Driving?

  • Module 2: Vehicle Safety & Maintenance

  • Module 3: Distracted Driving

  • Module 4: Defensive Driving Techniques

  • Module 5: Collision Avoidance

  • Module 6: Winter Driving

Upon completion, you will be presented with a final exam to test your knowledge.

Course Topics:

Being a defensive driver requires knowledge concerning all aspects of driving, vehicle maintenance, preparing yourself mentally, and much more!

By the end of this course, you should be able to:
