DELF / DALF

The DELF  and DALF designate two modern degrees designed to assess the ability to communicate in a candidate, in real-life situations using authentic documents. These two diplomas attest and certify the level of proficiency in French of candidates whose mother tongue is other than French.

The DELF and DALF awarded by the French Ministry of National Education, can be used to study, work and immigrate in a francophone country thanks to the worldwide recognition of this certification. They are six separate levels of diplomas. These exams are created for adults and for kids, the results are valid indefinitely. DALF and DELF reflect the six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).

DELF Prim exams are for the children at primary school. The skills assessed are the same as those in the DELF General Public. However, the language material and questions are adapted for the age group.
