The role of a Level II dental assistant involves precise and detailed work in a confined environment, including chairside and laboratory duties, instrument reprocessing as per current IPAC guidelines, maintaining infection control along with intra-oral skills such as selective coronal polishing, oral hygiene instruction, application of pit and fissure sealants, fluoride application, and teeth whitening processes.

As an Intra Oral Dental Assistant, you work chairside and receive and prepare patients for treatment.
You will learn a system for treating patients that involves stabilizing the temporomandibular joint prior to any orthodontic treatment, and bring these important skills to your practice where you can ensure a beautiful smile, straight teeth and healthy jaw joints.
