Our Story
JD Training has emerged from the understanding of coping with circumstances and difficulties. It is our aim and focus to equip our learners with not only the practical skills but also the core values of initiative and insight in helping those in need and enabling them to carry out their roles with care and competence. We strive to give the best possible training to our customers at extremely competitive rates.
Our trainers are highly trained professionals with excellent training qualifications and years of hands on experience within health care and the public sector. Our customers tell us our training is excellent and we believe we are unique in the fact we are always available for post course advice and guidance.
What's in the Name?
JD Training was established in July 2005 by our Managing Director, Annette Heath (RGN). Sadly at that time we lost a much-loved member of our family Joan Doris Burnett. The company is named after Joan, who was a very special person who always had time for everyone.
After suffering a stroke Joan showed strength of character, great courage and determination despite her disabilities. So it is to Joan Doris that we have dedicated the name of our company to, in the hope that we can carry forth her kindness, courage and determination and make JD Training into a business that is always willing to help and go the extra mile for our customers.
Our Team
Over the past fifteen years, not only has our office and quality of training grew, but so has our team. From our wonderful office staff who are our brains behind the operation - planning courses, venues, and going the extra mile to satisfy our customers - to our amazing trainers, who are consistent in delivering excellent training to our clients. Without our amazing team, JD Training wouldn't be where we are today.
