This awarenes course has been designed to provide delegates with knowledge about diabetes which is a common condition affecting many people in this country.
The aim of this course is to improve the learners understanding of diabetes and assist delegates to understand how the two main types of diabetes present themselves.
They will also learn how to recognise and provide emergency treatment for both hypoglycaemic and hyperglycaemic episodes and raise the learners understanding of the complications of diabetes and how these may be prevented.
