Comprehensive DBT
For mental health practitioners who want to implement comprehensive DBT programs.
DBT-Informed Therapy
For practitioners and others who want to understand the basics of DBT and incorporate components of it into their work.
Consultation

We are a Toronto-based mental health and wellness centre operating both virtually and in person offering individual therapy, group therapy and a variety of additional wellness-focused services in a warm and welcoming environment.

Our Story
Equilibrium was founded by three mental health practitioners with a combined 50 years of experience working at The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
As colleagues at Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital, we (psychologist Dr. Michelle Leybman and social workers Lyndsey Davies and Shira Green) bonded over our passion for clinical work and our shared dream of practicing privately in a rewarding team environment one day.
The more we talked, the clearer it became that our visions aligned. We all wanted to create a community-oriented space where excellent treatment was delivered with warmth and compassion, and a really positive and supportive environment for our team.
In 2021 we decided to take the leap and turn that vision into reality – and Equilibrium was born.
Successful participants will achieve a Mental Health First Aid certificate from the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
