Specialising in face-to-face and online training, we provide comprehensive courses in first aid, mental health, and safety to equip you and individuals within your organisation with the tools necessary to respond confidently in any situation.
This course aims to give a basic understanding of the role of each nutrient in our body and the importance of finding the right balance for their consumption. Special diets and the management of both food allergies and intolerances will be considered.
This half day course is essential for all staff to gain an understanding of good eating and drinking habits as well as their benefits for different people’s medical needs
Food is complicated. We are bombarded with information about the fat and sugar content of food, its vitamins and minerals and the claimed benefits of new products.
Safe preparation of food in a homecare situation. The importance of a balanced diet and why we need fluids. Signs and symptoms of dehydration and malnourishment and what to do.
What does the qualification cover? This qualification will increase understanding of the principles of healthy eating and the role of maintaining health. It will increase confidence in planning and achieving a healthy diet and how an individual's dietary requirements change throughout life.
