By the time you graduate, you will be able to:
Starting in Fall 2021, students will earn a second credential in addition to their Honours BA in Digital Media and Journalism as part of the program.
The new Certificate in Digital Media Production will highlight the hands-on training students will receive and the skills they will develop via workshop-based classes in digital imaging and photography, audio storytelling, videography, as well as graphic and web design.

This four-course certificate (12 credits) offers an introduction to journalism and closely aligned areas of study.
Langara Journalism programs (2-year Diploma or 1-year Certificate) aim to train students interested in journalism and communications careers.
The Broadcast and Digital Journalism Associate Certificate caters to part-time students aspiring for entry-level journalism roles.
SFU’s Certificate in Digital Journalism provides an introduction to and experience in diverse forms of public communication that draw on journalistic traditions that are being transformed by digital platforms and data driven communication.
Trainees: Journalists, Reporters, Presenters, Media Officers, and Media Organisations Managers.
