Does your camera confuse you? This class will cover ISO, aperture, shutter speed and more. You'll never want to photograph in auto mode again! You need to have a camera that has the manual mode setting. If you would like to rent a camera from us, we charge $30 for the session.? Hands on exercises will be given. We are teaching in-person and online photography classes, courses and private lessons to adults and children, if you want to capture better photos, we can help!

  • mindy véissid is an innovative, award-winning international fine art photographer and creator of Art of Intuitive Photography. Her approach to photography focuses on using intuition, vulnerability and trust to show a deeper sense of who she is and what she sees. Mindy developed her style based on her frustrations of learning photography in a traditional school setting where everyone was taught to do the same thing with limited individual or creative exploration. Mindy didn't want to be a follower (or as she puts it, a robot following the demands of others), she wasn't interested in the technical perfection of an image - she wanted to explore and share what her heart guided her to. Mindy's intention is that her photos tell a story or a poem, guiding the viewer deeper into her image and to show that's it's ok to be who you are, to trust yourself and your body (intuition). Mindy's photos have been exhibited in the US and Europe and have been published in various magazines and websites. Mindy created her Art of Intuitive Photography classes and workshops in 2010. In her classes, she helps her students trust their intuition and creativity creating a fun and experiential approach to photography. Mindy has been a guest instructor at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, an Adult Education teacher at the NY Botanical Gardens, has presented at Twillingate Digital Arts Festival, Newfoundland, CA, the New York Open Center, Idyllworks of Maine, the Galveston Art Center, the Viewfinder Center in Zürich, Switzerland, and has held workshops in London, Paris, Newfoundland, CA, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Los Angeles, Colorado, Portland, ME, Portland, OR, Fredericksburg, TX and Boston. Mindy has also presented at B&H Event Space, appeared on Good Morning America with Deepak Chopra and NBC TV's Wednesday's Child, interviewed on BBC Capital News and Radio Free Joshua Tree, CA, and received TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence in 2015 and 2016. Mindy published her photo book NYC 2020 A Year Like No Other in 2021, Art of Intuitive Photography in 2016 and is the co-author of Photographers Squared: The Great American Shoot-out published in 2015. Before becoming an international fine art photographer in 2009, Mindy worked in the corporate world and lived in Luxembourg and did her MBA and worked in Switzerland.
