In this intensive, hands-on one-day workshop led by narrative strategist Steve Ballantyne, you’ll learn how to transform your storytelling skills from print to the screen, for both B2B and B2C audiences. If you’re a marketer, digital marketer or content creator, this course will give you the templates and tools you need to take your digital storytelling to the next level.
We start the day by examining the neuroscience of storytelling and uncovering the hidden structure that sits beneath all great stories. Then we look at what we can learn from brands and individuals succeeding in the digital storytelling space such as game designers, influencers, and movie makers. We also dive into practical areas like… how to use storytelling in your Google AdWords campaigns, website copy and everyday emails.
This workshop is an artful balance of storytelling theory and practical application backed up by compelling case studies from local and international brands. You’ll also get a chance to workshop your brand story during the day and use story frameworks to write your own backstory.
