Graduates who have attained a Techtorium in Cloud Management in 7 Diploma will have sufficient Cloud and Server Integration skills to be employed in an entry-level role.
This course normally requires you to have completed the New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (ITTS) Level 5 and the New Zealand Diploma in Systems Administration Level 6 to be eligible for this course. Previous work or study experience may be considered.
This Level 7 Diploma Course is a highly specialised course that aims to qualify students in Cloud & Server Infrastructure. As part of this one-year Diploma Course, students will be introduced to:
Provision public cloud solutions that include Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
Provision Microsoft 365 Solutions including Azure AD
Implement cybersecurity best practice
Receive industry certification training on AZ-900, MS-900, DP-900, AWS Cloud Practitioner
Design, install and configure cloud: data protection, automation, management, and monitoring
Apply service management
Implement architecture principles and network design
Produce enterprise-level documentation
Automation including onboarding and offboarding
Provision IaaS, PaaS, SaaS based solutions
Design and implement enterprise messaging solutions with Microsoft Exchange
Design and implement enterprise collaboration solutions with Microsoft SharePoint
Implement software defined networks and virtualisation technologies
Provision modern workplace technologies
Provide application packaging and deployment solutions
Understand Linux distros.
Entry Requirement:
All prospective candidates are required to have completed the Level 6 NZ Diploma in System Administration or an equivalent Level 6 qualification.
Mature applicants will be considered for a position on the course based on their interest in a career change to computer engineering.
Equivalent knowledge, skills and experience.
International students must have an appropriate level of English proficiency for the level at which they intend to study – IELTS Academic score of 6, with no band score lower than 5.5
