NAFA’s Diploma in Fashion Design is designed to help you acquire and perfect these key design skills, gain knowledge of the industry both locally and globally, and put them to good use in creative and research projects.

Over three years, you will progressively develop skills in 2D and 3D design, gain an understanding of fabrics, fashion communication and garment construction, and eventually, put it all together in a fashion show to demonstrate all you have learnt.

There are also abundant opportunities to gain industry experience through projects, visits, networking with guest speakers, and competitions both national and international.

NAFA hopes to attract applicants with the potential to become excellent arts practitioners. Applicants are selected by merit, based on the following criteria:

• Potential in Artistic Talent and Creativity
• Educational Qualification
• Language Proficiency
• Special Factor

Selection is competitive and is subject to the availability of places. However, the Academy may give consideration to talented applicants who excel in Artistic Talent and Creativity, but have not fully met the education qualification stated.
