Diploma In Fashion Designing

A diploma in Fashion Design follows current industry standards and expectations to prepare students for entry into the fashion industry. Led by industry professionals and educators in a fashion design studio setting, students learn to research for design inspiration, develop their personal aesthetics and merge their fashion designs into society as a whole. 

They will create a fashion collection; develop their digital identity; immerse in-studio work with advanced construction and digital techniques; and present their own work through digital media and a professional portfolio.

Objectives:

• Develop clothing collections including inspiration, color palettes, fabrication, process development, illustrations, and finished garments.
• Present a portfolio that reflects a personal design aesthetic, and in-depth knowledge of design processes, resources, and construction techniques used in the fashion industry.
• Design and problem solve through iterative processes including 2D and 3D samples and experimentation.
• Apply creativity and critical thinking to design development independently and in collaborative environments.
• Integrate visual and verbal communication skills into all stages of design development and production
