Diploma in Information Technology is tailored to provide students who wish to pursue a career in the Information Technology sector with essential knowledge and skills, key technical information and theoretical understanding for them to explore technology-based venture effectively.

This programme exposes students to programming principles & techniques, operating systems in terms of development & maintenance as well as system analysis. It also helps students to deepen their knowledge in data communication and data structures that will help them to secure a place in the demanding Information Technology industry.

Entry Requirements:

• Programme Entry Requirements
• Possess SPM with at least THREE (3) credits in any subjects (inclusive of Mathematics or any equivalent qualification); OR
• A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), with a minimum of Grade C [Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA 2.00)] in any subject or any equivalent qualification and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
• A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (pass) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
• A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in any qualification with at least a CGPA of 2.00; OR
• A pass in any qualification equivalent to certificate (Level 3, MQF);OR
• Possess SKM Level 3 and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR
• Other relevant & equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.?
• Notes:
• Candidates with a pass in Mathematics at an SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the certificate programme contains subjects in Mathematics that are equivalent to Mathematics at SPM level.

• take a reinforcement Mathematics subject with appropriate topics in the discipline of Computing at the beginning of the study.”
