The Diploma in Logistics & Operations Management equips students with the skills to apply scientifically-based techniques to work-related problems.
Students learn to apply skills in business forecasting, problem-solving, logistics, quality management, to support, schedule and control systems.
The programme enables you to develop an in-depth study of Logistics and Operations management in areas such as Financial Accounting, Legal Issues in Transportation, Purchasing and Procurement, Economics, Principles of Management, Principles of Information System, Business Statistics, and Warehousing and Inventory Management.
Upon completion of the Diploma programme, students will be able to progress to Advanced Diploma, Bachelor and Master programmes.
Programme Objective:
To provide students with an overview of the key functions of management in logistics.
To develop an understanding of the strategic role of purchasing and procurement and latest developments in term of supply.
To expose students to the techniques used in the design, layout and management of warehouses and distribution centers.
