Graduation & Degree Awarded:
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Diploma in Mass Communication from Kaplan Higher Education Academy, Singapore.
Advanced Diploma and Diploma graduates can progress to pursue Degree programmes offered by our university partners and other higher education institutions from Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom (relevant disciplines and/or subject to university’s requirements).

The Diploma programme consists of 8 modules. Programme duration is 11 months with possible completion in 8 months. The following modules are covered in the programme:

Entry Requirements:
1. Local Students:
Kaplan Foundation Diploma; OR
Minimum 1 GCE A-Level pass; OR
Other private or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis (based on the equivalence to the GCE A-Level); OR
Mature candidates (30 years old and above, with a minimum of 8 years of work experience)
2. International Students:
Kaplan Foundation Diploma; OR
Minimum 1 GCE A-Level pass; OR
Completion of Year 12; OR
Completed High School education in their home country; OR
IB Diploma; OR
Pre-university certifications (based on the equivalence to the GCE A-Level); OR
Other private or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis (based on the equivalence to the GCE A-Level)
English Language Requirement:
At least D7 in GCE O-Level English; OR
IELTS 6.0 or equivalent1; OR

The main objective of the Advanced Diploma in Digital Media Design and Communication is to provide students with a comprehensive education in digital media, preparing them for successful careers in the dynamic and evolving fields of design and communication.

The study of journalism encompasses many of the most important areas for learning and discussion in the world right now: truth, fake news, freedom of speech, cancel culture, democratic structures, media literacy, and critical thinking.
You will learn design methodologies and establish the knowledge base of design principles. The level also highlights the rules and core skills that govern the design process, while providing a historical, social and creative introduction to the design practice.
On completion of the program, students will be prepared to apply the theoretical and technical knowledge and skills to provide socially and ethically responsible business communication solutions.
