Diploma in office administration provides an opportunity for the students to acquire a range of administrative skills crucial to the successful functioning of any organization. Students will acquire exceptionally advanced practical skills in office procedures, electronic office equipment, and the technical knowledge of computer and office skills typically used in the business world. 

This course offers the necessary techniques required within any office environment. From the humble company to a high-powered one, this programme will add a zing of professional supervision in established businesses.

Proggrames Objectives

  • Provide students with the tools of office administration practices, acquire adequate office administration knowledge, and demonstrate solid foundation of the concepts and theories in office administration, abilities to apply generally accepted office administration principles and records business transaction.
  • Receive and transcribe from oral dictation letters, reports, statistical data and calculations into a mail ready format. (involving entering in data from a variety of sources, filling in missing pieces, meeting with others to gain critical info)
  • Apply appropriate critical thinking skills and analyze effective strategies for solving various situations that arise in today’s office workforce (including ethical practices and professional telephone/customer service etiquette and effective time management strategies)
  • Evaluate, create and communicate professional and effective oral and written means of communication (memorandums, letters, fax cover sheets, report, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, agendas/itineraries)

Malaysian Students:

  • A pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with 3 credits in any subject; OR
  • A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in related field; OR
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of grade C (GPA 2.00) in any subjects; OR
  • A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (Pass); OR
  • Any qualification equivalent to certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework).

International Students:

  • A pass in O-Level with a minimum of Grade C in 3 subjects
  • Any qualification equivalent to certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework).
