Diploma in Reflexology (Level 3)

The reflexology course includes ‘hands-on’ training in foot reflexology.  you will learn reflexology techniques, how to assess the client and perform foot massage, and the background knowledge necessary to setup in business.

The reflexology diploma qualification is recognized in many countries outside the UK and gives a good grounding for further qualifications in holistic therapies. The venue is at the manchester school of massage in south manchester.  The group size is kept at ten or below for individual attention.

In certain circumstances, we may be able to offer a monthly payment scheme. Part-time work experience for students is available at manchester therapy centre. Continuous assessment by means of written homework, assignments, and home practice.

Home study and practice is over a minimum period of three months following the school attendance days. A final assessment date is arranged after the home study period. Please note that a fee of £160. 00 is payable for the vtct assessment and verification. A certificate in anatomy, physiology & massage is preferred but not essential.

The reflexology diploma course does not cover basic anatomy & physiology. If coming onto the course without a background in this you will be expected to cover it through home study. Study notes and homework will be provided by the school. 

course content:
mapping reflex points on feet and limbs. General zones - principles, philosophy, and logistics. The reflexes, the stretch reflex, tendon reflex, flexor reflex, crossed extensor reflex. Reflexology treatment grips, connective tissue massage.

Observations, indications, considerations, and applications - pre, during, and post-treatment. Reading the body, history taking, incorporating other techniques, methods & therapy. Care and management of the individual.
