Upon completion of the Diploma of Work Health and Safety, students will possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and be able to use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and the work of others with safety responsibilities.
Assessment
Written assessment activities for each unit are conducted plus two major assignments covering multiple units.

Work Safely at Heights course addresses the requirements for all persons working at height. The three working systems – Fall Restraint, Fall Arrest and Work Position are covered in detail, with practical application of the skills practiced and assessed throughout the course.
The conduct local risk control unit equips participants with the knowledge and skills to safely identify hazards; assess risks and identify unacceptable risk; identify, assess and implement risk treatments, and complete records and reports.
