Relationship to TFAAC:

As a member of the TFAAC family prior to its incorporation, The Institute operated as the designation body/business unit of The Financial Advisors Association of Canada (TFAAC). 

Focusing on setting standards for the designation and education world, The Institute serves as the enforcement body for The Institute and Advocis Code of Professional Conduct (CPC).
