Our display screen equipment courses are aimed at users of display screen equipment (DSE) and those responsible for assessing display screen equipment. A ‘user’, is anyone who regularly uses display screen equipment for a significant part of their normal work.
The Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992,sets out the duties on Employers to protect against the risk to the health of Employees operating this type of equipment.
To be able to carry out effective DSE assessments, correcting problems immediately or recording actions required and assessing priority for later rectification.
To ensure the correct positioning and work place practices to avoid injury from usage of Display Screen Equipment or Visual Display Units.
At the end of the programme you will be able to describe the legal requirements for risk assessment and outline the main requirements of the DSE Regulations.
