Our display screen equipment courses are aimed at users of display screen equipment (DSE) and those responsible for assessing display screen equipment. A ‘user’, is anyone who regularly uses display screen equipment for a significant part of their normal work.
Phoenix’s DSE training course helps both employers and employees to meet these legal requirements and understand computer health and safety better. In turn, reducing the risk of ill-health caused by using DSE.
To be able to carry out effective DSE assessments, correcting problems immediately or recording actions required and assessing priority for later rectification.
This half-day DSE risk assessment course covers the role of a DSE risk assessor. You will learn about workstations, workstation risk assessment, the legislation and how to carry out a DSE risk assessment correctly.
The DSE course aims to provide an awareness of the hazards associated with the prolonged use of DSE, and ways of reducing the associated risks.
