DJI Drones Basic Flight Training

Flight Training with UAVHub is one-on-one tuition with one of our highly qualified and experienced instructors with your DJI aircraft (others may be suitable but please contact UAVHub first).

This is perfect for students who either:

• Have no prior drone experience

• Have some experience but are not confident in their skills

• Have more experience but want time with a professional to iron out any bad habits

This training is purely practical and will take place outside in an area that UAVHub has full permission to use. This means that appropriate clothing and equipment will be required and the safety and ability to carry out the training will be assessed on the day, as it is heavily weather dependent.

In the event that the weather disrupts the training, it can be postponed and arranged for another time. The aim of the training is to give students the skills and techniques to become competent, confident and safe Remote Pilots. 

Sessions are 90 minutes so please ensure you have enough battery capacity.

Please note: This training is NOT suitable for FPV drones including the DJI FPV or DJI Avata

What are the benefits?

What will I need to bring?

• A minimum of 2 fully charged batteries (3 ideally)

• Your own DJI drone (e.g. DJI Mini, DJI Mavic 3, DJI Phantom 4 etc.)

• Fully charged controller

• Fully charged smart device (if required for the controller)

• Appropriate clothing and footwear.

• Flight Test Insurance
