The course will discuss the differences between the container and the virtual machine. Students will be walked through the life cycle of the container and the various stages of development.
Studetns will learn how to install Docker on various platforms, create their first container, image, push and pull to the registry hub, they will also learn how to install your own local registry, volumes, container networking, orchestrating containers, and how to debug containers. Students will build an HTTP server image, run as a service, and connect to it. They will also learn how to create a swarm and prepare their containers for production.
