Dressmaking

 The Embroidery course is designed to enable participants to learn the techniques of stapling, embroidery and stitching, in addition to learning the basics of ornamentation used in fashion design, the processes of application and stapling on the loom and the use of different threads.

Knitting classes are offered by myBearpaw for all skill level. myBearpaw classes where you can learn new skills in a friendly, relaxed environment. With an emphasis on fun and creativity, the aim of our workshops is to share skills and inspire students to get involved in a wide range of crafts. 

In this 3 hour workshop you will be taught how to set up a sewing machine ready for free-machine embroidery, have a go at doodling with the machine and then design and make your own framed textile picture to take home.  Cost includes all tuition, materials & equipment & tea/coffee. 

This wonderful Christmas themed workshop is suitable for the intermediate knitter.  During this class we will show you how to knit these beautiful fair isle baubles in the round using double pointed needles finishing off with an i cord hanger.

If you can do some basic crochet stitches but want to make the leap to crocheting your own garments - then this is the class to you! I have designed a pattern which will be made to your (or whoever you are making it for) measurements!
