Dressmaking

You will learn the basics of crochet; how to hold the hook and yarn, chain stitch, single, double and treble stitches. You will produce pretty little squares which can be linked together to create a cushion, scarf, etc. You will gain all the skill you need to continue your masterpiece at home.

If you're new to needle and thread, why not pop along to one of our sewing classes? You can learn the basics and begin to learn the basics of garment repairs and costume design. We'll give you a full demonstration on how to use a sewing machines and teach you the tricks of the trade.

These workshops are perfect for children aged 8 yrs and above. These classes are for children who would love to learn how to sew. You will learn along side your child to make a beautiful hand sewn project to take home.

Bag Making classes are offered by myBearpaw for all skill level. myBearpaw classes where you can learn new skills in a friendly, relaxed environment. This Dressmaking course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to start making your own garments. Whilst this course does not have a formal qualification at the end, it is a fantastic way to widen your sewing skills with hands-on learning material among a group of likeminded enthusiasts.
