A professional sewing course to develop your basic machine sewing skills to professional standard. We'll focus on how to make lightweight garments for women, looking at the techniques used in top-quality ready-to-wear pieces.
Together we'll make a pair of fingerless mitts, learning all the basics of knitting along the way: how to knit, purl, cast on and bind off as well as seaming and weaving in the ends of your finished project.
The aim of this class is to teach you the basics and get you started. You will begin this workshop being shown how to hold your hook and yarn, how to create the basic chain and then introduce you to crochet stitches such as single, double and treble crochet.
