This course has two levels:
Level 1
For students who have never touched a sewing machine or has little sewing skills. You will learn how to use the sewing machine, overlocker, cut and sew 3 easy garments like PJ pants or boxer shorts, a skirt, a top. Also you will learn to read commercial patterns and some basic fitting.
Level 2:
You will learn to sew: a top with sleeves, a skirt with zipper, and an easy dress. Set in sleeves . Also, you will learn how to do the fitting for your body.
Ana is a former Industrial Engineer with post degrees in Productivity and Management, who later graduated as a Fashion Designer, majoring in Patternmaking , Grading and Garment technology. Later she became a VET trainer.

These classes, instructed by Helena Kinnunen, are an introduction to upholstery sewing during which time students will make or recover their own cushions. It is suitable for beginner to intermediate skill level.
